Older, well-maintained detached house in quiet and peaceful surroundings with good space and short distance to various nature experiences as well as the village of Flisa. Good opportunities for various trips, fishing and a quiet life in the countryside. 25 km from the Swedish border. The location is "in the middle of Scandinavia". 60 km to Kongsvinger, 50 km to Elverum, 80 km to Hamar. The house is located on a farm where we, a couple in our 60s, also live with our dog, Perle.

The result is Tyven — an 80 sqm boutique cabin with a large window overlooking Mjøsa — Norway's largest lake — from the kitchen. Featured in National Geographic Traveller. Private jacuzzi, two full bathrooms, and peace and privacy in Mjøsli's natural surroundings. Kitchen, bathroom and one bedroom on the ground floor — living room and two bedrooms on the lower floor. Closed child-friendly area where only residents have access to the road barrier. In summer, there is the possibility of swimming, fishing or hiking on prepared trails. With a canoe you can visit several islands in the lake. Free loan of canoe. The cabin is only a 1 hour drive from Gardermoen Airport. In winter there is the possibility of ice fishing on the lake or cross-country skiing on great ski trails at Trondsbu (18km, must have a car) 550 MOH. Ice fishing on Storsjøen? The old summer barn at Hovelsrud Farm is idyllically located between Mjøsa and a rolling cornfield – a simple and unique place for those who want to get close to nature and enjoy the tranquillity of Helgøya. The house is best suited for a couple or a small family with up to two children. Inside there is a bedroom and an open-plan living room. Outside there is a kitchen counter, with a gas burner and barbecue, a small beach where you can swim, and an outdoor toilet. There is no electricity.
