2 bedroom cottage on the Mira River Cottages property. Open concept living area and kitchen. 2 single beds in each bedroom, and futon which can sleep 1 or 2 persons. Less than 30 mins to Sydney, 17 mins to the Wildlife Park, and 45 mins to the Fortress of Louisbourg. And with a short walk from the cottage you will be greeted with the breathtaking view of the Mira River. We welcome you all year round where you can enjoy the 4 seasons of Cape Breton. This one room retreat boasts a south west vista of the Bras d'Or Lake, includes a veranda with gorgeous sunsets, king size bed and access to the beach. It is half way between Baddeck and Sydney and a perfect spot for anyone travelling the Cabot Trail. Firewood provided for fire pit if the burn ban is not in effect. Kayaks are available to use at your own risk, with life jackets, and if you are experienced in paddling.

If you’re looking for space to relax in a rural setting, but don’t want to be far away from amenities, this is the perfect location for you.   Our cottage is located in Northside East Bay - just 20 minutes from Sydney.   Inside, you will find an open-concept kitchen/living room, bathroom with walk-in shower and 3 bedrooms. Outside, there’s a large patio with a hot tub, seating and bbq. There’s also a fire pit. Relax and enjoy nature and a view of the nearby Bras d’Or!

Welcome to our beautiful cabin located on hwy 4 only 13 min from Sydney River, 5min from the ski hill and benion marina, 1 min from the country market where you can get anything needed including a ice cream sore in summer and small liquor store. If you’re joining us in the summer we are only 1.5min from east bay sand bar an amazing beach and 3min from the walking trails:) complete with fire pit and large back deck.
