Nearby there are several attractive sights, such as Svartisen, Corbels canyon in Lacho National Park, Bolga, Rødøy, etc. Search up "visit Meløy", "Meløy adventure", "Bolga Brygge" for info. The cabin is located approximately 200 meters from "Åmnes farm" where you can purchase farm products and hit the animals. Child friendly with nature as a playground. Good hiking areas and fishing opportunities nearby. Here you can enjoy the midnight sun, the sea and mountains.

At Stia you can stay in scenic and tranquil surroundings with views of the fjord and mountains. We welcome open-air guests to our great cabin in Holmsundfjorden in Gildeskål, 1 hour drive south from Bodø. The cabin is idyllic and undisturbed all the way down by the sea. The cabin has a boathouse with a 14 foot boat with 10 HP outboard motor. The cabin also has a great, private sauna tub all the way down by the water, and an outdoor jacuzzi (this is new from July 2025).
