This idyllic country cottage is surrounded by peaceful woodland and fields. Once an 18th-century barn, it has been lovingly restored and what a welcoming place it is. Inside, you'll find a traditional open fireplace, wooden beams and lots of exposed brick. The cosy sitting room is the perfect place to hunker down on cooler evenings, there's ample sofa space for six and a TV to watch films. Denbur is a lovely semi-detached cottage, with lawned garden and conservatory enjoying a superb location in rural Dorset, approximately 3 miles North East of Wimborne Minster. The village takes its name from John O'Gaunt, Duke of Lancaster. From the cottage you can visit Stonehenge and Salisbury, the New Forest National Park or Bournemouth and Poole for coastal activities. Roman Dorchester is the county town in the heart of international author and poets Thomas Hardy's Wessex.

We are a 30 minute car journey to the beautiful sandy beach of Sandbanks. A 20 minute car journey to sunny Bournemouth and only a 15 minute car journey to reach the edge of the New forest.
