Stay by the Bay

Our lovely little home is the perfect spot for families, seniors. Great East coast experience and the friendly community . The house is located on a very popular corner, featuring the ice cream parlour, to the beautiful lighthouse, and of course, the breath taking view of Chaleur Bay. A short walk to the beach, and take out food. There is an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and gym just a few minutes walk from the house. We poured our love into making this house feel like your home. Welcome!

ThistleBloom Bed and Breakfast

As well as the best sunsets, camp fires and seafood on PEI, our guest suite offers privacy, comfort, and access to local entertainment and sites. The beach is located at the end of our private road, or you can drive down along the shore road 1 minute away. It offers miles of shoreline for swimming, walking, relaxing, or collecting sea glass, as well as being a great place for sea bass fishing and kayaking. We are located on ‘The Island Walk’ and provide meals and transportation if desired.

The Trailhead Guest Cottage

Our peaceful oceanfront guest cottage is situated at the head of the 9.5 km Pollett's Cove hiking trail.  We recommend a two night stay - first night, settle in with a beverage, evening sunset and star gazing.  Wake to coffee and farm fresh breakfast delivered to your door step (except in August when we are on vacation), before hitting the trail to Pollett's Cove, the Skyline or any of the 30 other nearby national park trails. Have a swim, and return to a hot outdoor shower. Repeat!

With our view of the village and the St. Lawrence River, you can see the ferry make its entrance through our beautiful wildlife; whales, seals, porpoises as well as a wide variety of birds! Gîte Du Repos is located in the heart of the forest, close to the provincial park, Mount Carleton, just 8km from the city with 6 units, not in the owners house. For those who prefer downtown, we offer an apartment with a King size and sofa bed, PLEASE NOTE: the address for the apartment is 180 CANADA STREET.
