Gillsättra Gård

Take the opportunity to stay on a farm, in a fresh apartment/cabin, near grazing animals. This is suitable for those who like peace and quiet, and nature. Gillsättra is an old, charming row house village. In the middle of the island, close to everything. 6 km to the nearest beach. 11 km to the popular Bjärbybadet on the east side and 12 km to Färjestaden. Many nice opportunities for walking. In the countryside, there are flies, roosters that crow, the smell of coal, and work being done on the farm. Smaller dogs are welcome; larger dogs will be too crowded in the small apartment.

Exceptional cottage next to the alvar

Right next to the Alvar in the small row village is this former emergency cottage next to our house on the farm. We also run the yarn shop "Sticka på alvar". In the spring, the orchids bloom richly here. Several interesting historical sites are within walking distance, such as Dröstarp's deserted village. We have hens, five cats and two dogs. The house is from 1899 but has all the modernities. Barbecue area outside. Here, it is quiet and peaceful. In Gårdby, about 2 km away, there is Eksgården, which is a first-class restaurant, as well as Gårdby café

Modern cottage only 15 meters from the beach and the jetty that leads you into the sea. The accommodation built in 2019 is beautifully situated on Dunö about 10 min (car) south of Kalmar. The cottage comprises 25 sqm floor + 10sqm sleeping loft and has a full kitchen and bathroom with shower. Proximity to exercise tracks and several other bathing areas and jetties. Only 15 meters from the ocean and 10 minutes from central Kalmar you find this newly built cottage. Modern amenities close to the best of nature.

Or borrow two stand-up paddleboards and paddle around the islands. Sheets and towels are included.

During the spring, the small village street between Karlevi and Eriksöre is a well-visited stretch with its flowering slopes and fragrant lilac bushes. Enjoy the sounds of nature while staying at this unique place. Newly-built Glamping house by Granåssjön. Here you will have the opportunity to live in the middle of the forest on a mountain by a lake. The house does not have electricity or running water. There is a composting toilet next to the house and a water tank in the house.
