Home for a wedding, the holidays* or just the weekend*-book your stay in our spacious centrally located home away from home. Just 2 blocks from the Nursing Home/Hospital, Churches and Downtown. This 2 bedroom, 1 bath space offers all the amenities including laundry, full kitchen with separate large dining and living rooms. We look forward to hosting you. *Weekend & Holiday booking policy-2 night minimum if booking more than 2 weeks in advance. (Holidays-Easter, Thanksgiving & Christmas)

The Hytte Hideout- Golf, River, and Privacy.

We’d love to have you come enjoy our “Hytte”, or what the Norwegian culture calls their weekend cabin! We have completely renovated this small, but mighty, property that will be perfect to use as your home away from home. Nestled on 15 spacious acres, with the Goose River flowing through the back of the property. You truly have to experience a stay here to grasp how unique it is. Take in both nature and small town living, while appreciating the tranquility it offers.

Quaint lower-level condominium walking distance to downtown and to Valley City State University. Comfortable and quiet with access to coin laundry. Use of garage upon request. Valley City, the city of bridges, is a friendly community population 7500 in a scenic river valley of the Sheyenne.

Unique Train Depot Experience

Visit our historic 1890 train depot. It is an opportunity to enjoy a get away from city life. Our hope is that this is a place people can relax and enjoy natures beauty. The depot has 2 extraordinary rooms that are completely private but located on our farmstead separate from our main house. Here you can view occasional wildlife, our domestic animals and one of the best views North Dakota has to offer (in my opinion).

Larimore’s Prairie Rose Inn

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Features 2 bedrooms (one queen bed and one twin with trundle) a living room and a kitchenette with a fridge( no stove) coffee maker and microwave. We provide coffee and tea! Kitchenette also includes 3 seat bistro table! Warm, cozy and comfortable and quiet! Our instant book is turned on. If your traveling late at night, this is the place to be!
