The Old Manistee Lighthouse

This was the original lighthouse in Manistee Michigan. Originally built in 1873, it was later converted to the bunkhouse for the coast guard. The home was moved twice and now resides on a spacious triple lot on a dead end block. Very tastefully remodeled with very nice updates without losing the historical accents like the original bunk beds and the table and chairs from a ship in 1930. Walking distance to the beautiful beach and to downtown Manistee. All proceeds used to replace the light.

Very clean house in quiet neighborhood on double lot. Air-conditioned, high-speed internet (350 mbps download speed) and cable TV. Excellent lighting throughout plus the main living areas face south providing good natural light for living areas. Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. We planned our St. Mary’s House with our Big Family in mind. Plenty of space for the kids and adults to gather together or find some quiet time for themselves. We love the fire pit out back and walking to Lake Michigan beaches (<10mins). Walk downtown for shopping, restaurants, movie theater, ice cream! Enjoy the Riverwalk, swim in the Big Lake, and cozy in for dinner. Lots of parking, so BYOB (bring your own boat)!
