By bus or car, you can be in Leeuwarden in no time to shop, go to the bios or have a bite to eat. Dokkum is also recommended, or Groningen.

At the end of 2023, we converted our cozy B&B into an apartment that is equipped with all comforts. And we speak from experience because during the renovation of our own house, we lived in it ourselves! 🏡 Also check out our w e b s i t e ! The residence is located in a rural area, but also close to Leeuwarden and Dokkum. The perfect base for hiking and cycling. In beautiful Friesland, this beautiful house with great views is located. The Serre is a holiday home behind our house with a nice bright room which borders the large garden. In this garden also stay our dog, the goats (behind a fence) and the chickens and free-range ducks. Great nature reserves in this region invite you to hike and cycle. In addition, Leeuwarden and Dokkum are cozy cities nearby. The train station is a 10-minute walk from the house.

Stacaravan

Relax in this chalet right in the center of Veenwouden. Explore the beautiful Fryske Wâlden. This mobile home is ideal for hikers and/or cyclists. In Veenwouden, there are several eateries/shops. You can also use canoe rental from the nearest neighbor. And do you love fishing? This can also be done at the jetty by the water. In short, you will find everything here for a relaxing stay! The mobile home is located behind the house.

Rinsumageast, cozy cottage located on the edge of the forest.

"Come and relax in our cottage 'Welgelegen', on the edge of the forest. You can enjoy and relax here. You can also enjoy hiking and nature here. Within 10 minutes, you can be in Dokkum, and within half an hour, you can be in Leeuwarden or Drachten. You can park for free at the forest, right next to the cottage. All basic facilities are available, and this allows you to fully relax and enjoy your stay in Rinsumageast!"

Stay in one of the most beautiful villas in Friesland. The entire upper floor is at your disposal.
