🏡 Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes, which is located in Farsund municipality. The Skipper's House was built in the 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in the spring of 2021. In collaboration with a local painting company, we work to make the house as authentic as possible, including by wallpapering the living room, kitchen and hallway with skipper's house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is wall to wall with the brewery that has a renovated bakery oven.

Enjoy your holiday in an almost new house with four bedrooms, private pool and only a few steps to the beach! The house is 240 m2 and is located in quiet surroundings in Borhaug, is modernly furnished and maintains a high standard. The house also contains a steam bath that can be used if requested in advance. Warm up in the steam bath after swimming in the sea on autumn days. The swimming pool is open from 17 May to 12 September. Steam bath open all year round. Perfect for both lazy days in the sun and cozy evenings with your family.

The house is close to Borhaug, in 5 minutes walking distance to Nordhasselvika - highlighted by The Guardian as one of the top 20 most beautiful 'hidden beach gems' in Europe.

We rent out our funky house in Viga, Spin. The house was built in 2018, and has a high standard. On the ground floor there is a corridor, laundry room, TV lounge with sofa bed, bathroom, and three bedrooms all furnished with 2 single beds. On the second floor there is a large kitchen, living room, dining table, TV area, bedroom with a double bed, and large bathroom connected to this bedroom. Outside, there is a large terrace with plenty of living space, different seating groups, Jacuzzi and fireplaces, and nice views!

Skipperhouse in lovely Eikvåg

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Skipperhuset is cozy and south-facing in idyllic Eikvåg - an old sailing port - and is almost 300 years old. The house is completely renovated, and is located right on the waterfront. Bathing stairs make it easy to swim and engage in water activities. There are deep water docks where larger boats can easily dock. At the end of the jetty there is a slate paving with dining area and fire pit/grill, while at the other end there is a fenced rose garden with seating.

The house is very cozy and overlooks the beautiful village of Rasvåg and over the sea. There is a very rich outdoor area with several terraces and gardens as well as fruit trees behind the house.

With its location, the house is excellent for both surfers, birdwatchers or for those who simply want to have just relaxing days.
