There are good hiking possibilities in areas both summer and winter. 15 min to shops and shopping centers. Small fishing lakes nearby. Note: During the period 21.04-28.05, the road is closed about 1 km from the cabin, the price is therefore reduced during this period. The cabin was completed in autumn-22 and is of a high standard. It is located about 950 meters above sea level, a short walk from Danebu Kongsgård with hiking trails in the immediate vicinity and ski slopes right outside the door. The cabin has 4 bedrooms with 11 beds on two floors. The TV is located in the loft in a small loft between two bedrooms. The loft room has a sofa bed that sleeps 2 extra beds. The cabin has a small and a larger bathroom. Terrace, fire pit, Log chairs, long tables and benches with room for the whole family

Nearest cabin area is Gamlestølen with alpine slope, cross country tracks and restaurant. Very nice hiking in the area both around the cabin and in Etnedal itself, Valdres. Here you can take both long and short trips, bicycle. In winter it is possible to go cross country skiing. There are lots of blueberries right by the cabin. The cottage itself is very well equipped, has everything you need for everyday life.

Fjellsetra/Synnfjell /Valdres Cabin with jacuzzi

Fjellsetra is the nearest neighbor to the snaff mountain (located at 940 mt.alt.)and is not located in a cabin area. The place is for us a place we are traveling to find peace and quiet and get out on a trip in amazing nature. The area during summer has a lot of marked trails, the most famous is the trip up to Spåtind, 1414 mt.alt. In winter there are many great cross country trails (about 300 km with continuous trails). The tours (both winter and summer) start at the cabin.
