Vanaja cottage, Ascetic Cabin with Beach and Sauna

Ascetic remote old Finnish cottage with own beach and sauna. In midsummer there is also bilberry (nordic blueberry) fields right next to the cottage! At the cottage you can enjoy a romantic holiday in a historic milieu or just go and relax with your friends and take a rowing boat to the lake. The cottage has no electricity or running water, wood heating. You can cook with wood heated stove. Blankets, pillows, and mattresses can be found in the cottage. Please bring your own sheets & towels.

It´s always Sunday on the island! Saari Lokonen is a calm private island in the middle of Finland (near Etelä-Konnevesi national park). Rowing boat, two kayaks and a canoe available for free during the vacation. The car must be left on the mainland. Rowing distance to the island 300m Honka cottage built in 1997. This beautiful and spacious holiday villa is located in middle of Finland 58km from Jyväskylä, which is the center of WRC Finland event, and even closer to some of the rally stages. The downstairs apartment of this semi-detached house is all in your use with the big garden area and the beach. Also the popular national park of Konnevesi and the best fishing possibilities in southern Finland are just nearby. You can rent the outside jacuzzi and summer time the beach house separately.

Warmly welcome to stay as a guest of Morton in our village of Rautalamm. Our cozy and atmospheric twin sits in the middle of a village, a historic Malise house built in the 1870s. Our closest neighbors are the Rautalamm Museum, the church of Rautalampi, one of the largest wooden churches in Finland, and the lovely Arttel store. Rowing boat is in your use during your stay.
