Welcome to Klokkargarden - the quiet pearl in Aurland! The old part of the house was built 1947 and we are now the 4th and 5th generation living here. It has always been Marit’s favourite place and it is growing on Espen as well. The new part of the house where you find your flat was was finished 2018. The outdoor area is still "work in progress" - but lift your eyes and you can see the beauty of the Aurlandsfjord. The flat is well suited for 2-3 adults or 2 adults plus 2 young children.

Terrace with dining area and outdoor furniture and fireplace/bbc. Short distance to main attractions. Ideally located for trips by feet or by car. Boating, hiking, kayaking, swimming. The village Balestrand offers fishing trips and fjord tours by boat, rental of kayaks bicycles and cars.

Experience Vik Adventure which is located 10 minutes away from the place. They can offer unique trips by rib boat to roadless fjord arms such as the Nærøyfjord and Finnabotn which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Experience the old and great stave church and stone church, also 10 minutes away.

Enjoy your holiday in Balestrand on a peaceful farm with lovely views of the Sognefjord. If you want a hike in forests and mountains, there are a number of hiking trails in the area. The residence is located circa 2 km from Balestrand city center. There are opportunities to rent a car in Balestrand if needed and taxi. One of these options is recommended if you come by boat/ferry and have lots of luggage.
