The Twig, near Lake Bellaire

This cottage is unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. The Twig is a tiny, comfortable 480-square foot cottage on an artist's property on Lake Bellaire. Living room/kitchen down, bedroom/bath up. Sofa bed in living room. Very private and an easy 5-minute walk to the lake. The cottage, again, is tiny, and best suited for a single person, a couple, or a couple with children. Two couples might find it awkward. Well-behaved dogs are welcome for $15. There is a two-night minimum stay.

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape just steps from Grand Traverse Bay. Paradise Pines Resort is a group of vintage rental cottages built in 1938 and recently restored using creative reuse practices. We have 10 cottages of different sizes. Some have full amenities, and some, like this Eco Cottage, require you to bring your own supplies. Walk or bike ride into the waterfront village of Elk Rapids or cross the street to enjoy a swim at our county park with beach and art trails.
