Next to the Astronomical clock, you will meet your guide in a stylish historical costume, who will lead you into Old Town’s darkening alleys. There, you will be shown locations of dreadful discoveries, medieval graveyards, ancient churches and hospitals, as well as other places of Prague associated with the undead, demons and strange apparitions. The stories about them shaped the city’s self-perception for centuries! Through the lightly theatrical storytelling, you will familiarize yourself with the authentic creepy lore of the locals, but also learn a lot about the city’s past, as your guide will put the tales into historical context that further expands your understanding of Prague and its horrorful side. The tour makes stops at a handful of famous Prague landmarks (see under “Where you’ll be”) but also leads through picturesque areas off the beaten path with hidden gems. So, here's the plan: You get to become part of one of the biggest and most fun stand comedy shows in English in Berlin! And it's all on a boat! It's a fun, vibrant, energetic and friendly show - EVERY Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. We'll have pre-show drinks and then enjoy a great line up of Open Mic comics doing 5-7 minutes of material and an awesome headliner to top it all off. After that we'll have some relaxed drinks at the bar where we mingle and you get to know the comics and the other people joining the experience in a more private setting. This guided bike tour takes you to Berlin's top sights, through residential areas ("Kieze") and extensive parks, often along the River Spree. The starting point is 3 km east of the TV tower. It's easily accessible by Metro, Tram and Bus! The ride offers varied insights into the city (history) and shows how quickly the face of Berlin is changing, using "before and now pictures" during stops. Examples include the Berlin Wall and the City Palace. At the same time, it becomes clear how green and bicycle-friendly Germany's capital city is even in the center. Individual stations and landmarks we stop are illustrated in the photo series including captions & the short video. The total distance is approximately 19 km / 12 miles and is flat throughout. The use of bicycles and helmets is included in the price (no e-bikes). Children's and youth bikes as well as child and baby seats are also available and free of charge. The same applies to water.

For example, how to make boxes for things, stands or a piece of decor. At the beginning of the lesson, you will be able to choose which model you want to learn to do. We shall discuss the process of integration and assimilation (“Haskalah”) – including its setbacks – from its onset in the late 18th Century to its zenith in the first half of the 20th Century. We shall discuss the destruction of this community once the Nazi’s came to power, and how the confrontation of this horrible past has been dealt with in Germany throughout the years. Hear the story of one of the most important Jewish communities in Europe. A community where personalities such as Moses Mendelssohn (father of the Jewish Enlightenment movement), Azriel Hildesheimer (founder of Modern Orthodoxy), Albert Einstein and many others lived and worked. Here began the greatest transformations in Judaism and a prosperous community developed, reaching its pick on the eve of the Nazi rise to power. As part of the trip, there are stories of rescue and survival under Nazi rule, and also of those who sold their souls to the devil.
