Our apartment in the Sierra de Madrid is located at the entrance to Mataelpino, a small town that forms part of the same municipal area as Cerceda and El Boalo. It is a separate apartment located on the same property as our house. It has a living room, kitchen and dining room that is heated in winter with a pellet stove, and a bedroom with a bathroom. In the room, there is a portable electric radiator. In summer, it is very cool, as a large part of it is built into the rock. The apartment has a private, exclusive, fenced-in garden area with a barbecue, a table and chairs, and some garden chairs to enjoy the sunsets. This is a quiet area surrounded by nature, with many trails and paths for walking and unwinding.
