De Hude

In a beautiful location in the open landscape of the Oldambt in the east of the province of Groningen, there is a farm from 1771 of the oldest Oldambster type. The perfect place to discover the Oldambt! It is a unique farm, the only remaining farm of this type in its original form. The farm has been completely restored and two luxury guest houses have been created: the Hude in the original living area, and a second new house called Ruiterstok.

This nice room is built in a barn has its own shower and toilet. Ten minutes drive to the Wadden Sea. So no beach but dikes with sheep on it. However, a few sprayed fake beaches and the ferry service to Borkum for the real work. Waking up to cackling chickens under your window. Wood-burning stove warmth, with support of electric stove. A cabin from 2021 with all facilities you need. Easily accessible by car and located between Groningen and Delfzijl. The cabin is situated in the Hoogeland region which is known for its calming views and beautiful Groningen sunsets. It is not uncommon to see a herd of deer grazing during breakfast! This is the perfect accommodation for a walk- or biking tour in the area, or to see the rest of the northern Netherlands or Germany by car.

The "Arda" apartment in the far north of The Netherlands, surrounded by the North Sea and the Groningen plains, offers a wonderful base for exploring the mystical landscape. Treat yourself to a nice walk in the morning up to the dike, which offers protection against the relentless North Sea. Van harte welkom bij Groninger Kroon. Ontdek het beste van de stad en natuur van Groningen vanuit onze unieke plek in Noorddijk. Deze buurtschap bevindt zich in een sfeervolle en landelijke omgeving met vele wandel- en fietsroutes en op slechts 4 km van de binnenstad. De perfecte combinatie. Ons gastenverblijf is met veel liefde door onszelf gebouwd. Het meest trots zijn we op het adembenemende uitzicht.

Close to Groningen. With private entrance, private terrace and a bicycle shed. The space has a spacious double bed, bunk bed for 2 people, complete kitchen and private bathroom. It is on boating,/swimming water (canoe for free). Very suitable to explore the province or the Reitdiepdal (eg Garnwerd, Winsum - most beautiful village '20, Zoutkamp).
