We are located in Purmerend, a great base for anyone who wants to explore the best tourist attractions of the Netherlands. We’re within 30 minutes reach from the capital city Amsterdam, the typical Dutch village Zaanse Schans, fisherman’s village Volendam, cheese villages Edam & Alkmaar and picturesque Marken. All with the convenience of free parking. Be careful, Purmerend is a town near Amsterdam and not Amsterdam itself. Also, know you're booking a room in a shared house not the house itself.

Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located characteristic place. You are in the countryside, in a rural area. You can walk to the lake (Markermeer) and have a swim. There are some restaurants, the famous cheese-market and you can rent a boat to see Edam through te canals. You can visit beautiful old villages near by on our bikes. In twenty kilometers you are in Amsterdam city. There is a very good connection by bus, it takes twenty minutes. A comfortable chance to visit the museums.

One minute from the bus station in Edam. 20 minutes from city center Amsterdam, in a safe, causy, quite and child-friendly neighbourhood. Also a 100 mteres from the known Edam cheese markets. From here: visit most of the Netherlands within 2 hours drive. Perfect for a family with one or two children. You will be renting the whole house, with garden. Bathtub in a fully niew bathroom ! A 5 minute walk will take you to the nearest bus stop. From here you can easily travel to, for example, Amsterdam.
