Balsam Hollow is a newly built, charming rustic cabin that was created from the heart for our family, friends and you. From the all-wood exterior and interior, to the log railings in the loft, staircase and covered porch with wrap-around deck, our mission is to give our guests a true Adirondack Experience. Surrounded by nature, secluded and private, yet centrally located to Saranac Lake, Lake Placid, and Rainbow Lake with 25 miles of connecting waterways. You will find a snow shoe trail and cross country skiing on our 10 acres. Outside grill and fire pit. With our tankless water system you will have an endless supply of hot water to enjoy! Even though we are tucked off the beaten trail we are close to so much adventure! There are multiple trail heads close by, ice skating (pond style or rinks including the Olympic Oval in Lake Placid), Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort, Bobsled rides, Toboggan Shoot, Sled Dog rides, Boating, Canoeing, Mountain Beaches, Swimming Holes, White Water Rafting, Hiking, Mountain Biking, and so much more! Perfect home away from home with stocked kitchen, bathroom, laundry room and plenty of space to relax & unwind. Traveling for work or leisure will be easy to do in this location, centrally located off main road, close to local ski mountains, golf course, shopping, and local attractions. WiFi and cable TV will make for a leisurely time away from home. Comfortable queen bed and a memory foam sleeper sofa makes it comfortable for 4 guests! At face value, IG: @theadkchalet appears to be just a humble little getaway tucked in the Adirondack Mountains of Jay, NY (Lake Placid Area). But even the most discerning guests will be quickly spirited away by the rustic charm and secluded forest feel. The Chalet sleeps 4 people and has two bedrooms and one bathroom. The Chalet is located approx. 4.5hrs from NYC by car and is the perfect place to: escape the city, rekindle a romance, ski/ride Whiteface Mountain, hike, fish and so much more!

Magical Treehouse

Sleep up in the trees in our cozy Magical Treehouse. This place is the perfect base camp for your next adventure, or a unique spot to curl up with a good book. The perfect place to be in the woods, but not isolated. Cook your meals in the nearby cookhouse (40’ away, unheated) on a camp stove or over an open campfire. A heated bathroom/shower is 20’ away. We provide you with linens, cookware, plus help you plan your trip. Property includes miles of hiking trails and beautiful places to explore!

The Red Cabin at Split Rock

Our cabin provides comfort, privacy and a convenient base for exploring nearby Saranac Lake, Lake Placid and the surrounding area. A historic ice house dating back to the early 1900s, the cabin has been renovated to feature a cozy loft, bathroom and comfortable indoor and outdoor sitting areas. Nestled in a quiet, wooded setting with easy access to hiking trails, paddling, and local shops, it’s the perfect retreat for couples, solo travelers, or small families seeking a peaceful getaway.

Enjoy our 160 acres in a private natural setting. Owls, trout, heron, osprey, mergansers and the occasional loon will add to your stay. There are over 4 miles of private trails for hiking along the river and in the woods. Kayaks & fishing poles provided. Enjoy a romantic riverside fire-pit, professional massage table & new Finnish wood fired sauna. We sanitize everything 110% before your arrival and offer self check in. Only 10 minutes to the Trout River border crossing to Canada. 20 minutes south gets you to a prestigious 36-hole PGA golf course. Just a few minutes more and you can ski at Titus Mountain. Hosts live on property and invite you enjoy the sounds of the Trout River.

The Library at Camp Arden

Do you love books enough to sleep with them? Step into the Library at Camp Arden, furnished with one-of-a-kind antiques and collectibles. Curl up with your favorite book and take in the light of antique stained glass and the sounds of the Adirondacks gently wafting through the window. Take a paddle on Carpenter Pond with a provided canoe, or snuggle by the fire outside your door by your own fire-pit. No matter what you do, Camp Arden is waiting to help you enjoy the Adirondacks.

Hibernation Station

Relax and recharge in our beautiful cabin nestled in the Adirondack Mountains in a small RV park . Studio style space with a private bathroom. A queen size bed and 2 cots are available. There is a small kitchen space with a sink, microwave, pod coffee maker and mini fridge. Bathroom includes a stand up shower, toilet and sink. Guests can enjoy the outside space which is equipped with a picnic table and fire pit. Amazing view of Chateaugay Lake and night time skies.

Adirondack Spring: Unique Chalet with Hot Tub!

Modern design in a unique setting create a special Adirondack Experience without the crowds. New construction on 3 levels with natural light throughout. Secluded, yet full of light and long views of Mountains, Legacy Orchard and forest. Master bedroom with full bath, work space. Fully equipped kitchen and the cedar hot tub on the deck (available all year round!) make the Chalet a very special place. Great access to all winter outdoor activities.
