Welcome to the Gåsvannshytta, a hidden gem only 30 min from Kragerø. The cabin is peacefully on a toll road, so you can be by yourself. Bring drinking water (20l drinking water is at the cabin), Refrigerator, freezer and stove on gas. Lighting and charging options through 12v photovoltaic systems. Fireplace with free wood. Boat is included, but bring your own life jackets. Free fishing for trout and perch. Good opportunities for berry and mushroom smoking. The cabin must be cleaned upon departure. The home is 100 m2 with 2 bedrooms, alcoves with 4 beds (playroom), kitchen, 2 living rooms, bathroom with steam shower and unashamed terrace. On the down side are docks, islets and the possibility of swimming, fishing and canoeing. Other; Sommarland in Bø (Norway's largest water park), Norsjø Golfpark and Gullbringbadet are short away, and affordable to use. Feel free to ask host if wish to borrow canoe, redn.vester etc.

Enjoy the Norwegian outdoor activities winter and summer. This location is perfect for cozy family time in the rolling mountains of southern Norway. The area is friendly and perfect for alpine and cross country skiing during winter, and hiking and biking activities during summer. The cabin is located just next to Gautefall ski center; The ski center is open throughout Christmas, every day in weeks 7, 8 and 9, and all of Easter. Outside of this, it is only open Friday-Sunday.

The cabin is generally well equipped and everything is set up for relaxation both inside and outside. The cabin has a small loft with extra TV for movies and gaming. Idyllic Treungen city center is a 15 min drive away, where you will find a grocery store, cozy interior and flower shop.
