Our 150-year-old country house is located on the banks of the Saale surrounded by the beautiful mountains of the Schiefergebirge. The apartment is completely renovated and offers space for a relaxing break at any time of the year. In the immediate vicinity there are numerous opportunities for hiking or cycling and in summer the Hohenwarte reservoir invites you to swim. Various shopping facilities are in the village – including Supermarket, bakery and pharmacy. The train station is 1.5 km from the house.

Relax in the stylish and quiet house on the edge of the forest in the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, not far from the Rennsteig (2 km away). House is modern and fully furnished with living room including fireplace, sofa, table, TV. The kitchen-living room with induction stove, dishwasher and washing machine is located on the first floor. A newly renovated apartment on the 2nd floor has everything you need for a relaxing stay: 2 bedrooms: Bedroom 1: 2 single beds Bedroom 2: 3 single beds One modern bathroom: Shower, toilet, vanity with mirror and Hair dryer. Using the washing machine costs €2 per load. Fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher. Very nice - and tastefully newly furnished apartment in a rural area with very good connections to Erfurt, Arnstadt, Stadtilm and the Thuringian Forest. The apartment is suitable for a relaxing family vacation or business travelers. It is located on the first floor of a newly renovated 4-family house. Our apartment is about 80 square meters and has a fully equipped modern kitchen, a cozy living room, 2 bedrooms and a new floor-heated, barrier-free bathroom.

The “Gute Stube”

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. In earlier years, the "good room" in this house belonged to the grandparents who lived and managed the farm here. Here, the first floor was extensively renovated and converted. The terracotta floor gives the apartment a warm and Mediterranean atmosphere. In the hallway, the historic tiles and the front door from 1876 have been preserved. The kitchen-living room has become a cozy meeting place.

Relax and Play Rödental

Our cozy apartment is ideal for couples or small families and can accommodate up to 10 sleeping guests. (6 of them in a 2nd apartment on the upper floor from the 5th guest) For social evenings with friends, colleagues or family, there is a pool table, a music system and a cozy bar. The 39-degree warm hot tub is available all year round and is included. The use of the barrel sauna can be booked. Unfortunately, the hot tub in the SZ is not working.

Our apartment is located 800 m above sea level and about 14 km from the center of Saalfeld. If you are looking for peace and time to rest and relax, you have come to the right place. Alte Bäckerei - Old Bakery Center Saalfed Design

When master baker Hans Lange settled here in Saalfed in 1546 with the secret Nuremberg gingerbread recipe, no one could have guessed that his business would continue for 19 generations. We, as the 20th generation, cannot bake as well as our ancestors, but we would like to welcome you instead to our former bakery shop and thus continue the family tradition in a slightly different form. Apartment

Our small, fine apartment is ideal for short visits in the fairy Saalfeld. It is about a five-minute walk to the market square, in the immediate vicinity there is everything you need for successful vacation days. A free sofa bed is available for one child in the living room, i also like a baby cot. The City of Saalfeld charges a spa tax of €2 per day for adults and €1 per day for children aged 6 to 14; these costs are included in the price.

Fantastic house with a view

This lovingly furnished vacation home was newly built in 2023 and impresses with its unique location and its unobstructed view on a plateau right on the edge of the forest. It is an ideal starting point for hiking/cycling tours in the Thuringian Forest and is ideally suited for couples, friends and families. The spacious property offers enough space. In the house, all 3 bedrooms are furnished in pine wood.
