Shandwick is one of three small coastal communities that along with Balintore and Hilton that make up the seaboard villages. The hut offers a warm & comfortable place to relax & unwind. Our hut caters for 2, with a king sized bed, ensuite shower room, kitchen area and a wood burning stove. Outside, there is seating & open views. Situated in an area of natural beauty you will find yourself surrounded by stunning scenery, mountains, forests & beaches all waiting to be explored.

Garden Cottage with hot tub, castle & sea views

This charming cottage is completely unique having the old Redcastle ruin as a back drop and views of the Beauly Firth directly in front. There is an idyllic stream going through the garden and we have recently planted a wild flower meadow at the end of the garden. It has been beautifully refurbished in 2023 and we feel incredibly proud of the results. The cottage is located in the sleepy hamlet of Milton of Redcastle and really is an idyllic and very comfortable place to come and unwind.

We are a sand dune away from a safe beach and coastal walks where you may be lucky and see otters, seals and some of the Moray Firth dolphins.The village has a golf course with a hospitable clubhouse And a fascinating museum the TARBAT DISCOVERY CENTRE whose website is well worth a look at. The general store has a good choice of foodstuffs which you can cook in our well equipped kitchen.
