The cabin dream - with its own sauna

Enjoy quiet days in a cozy cabin with a brand new wood-fired sauna, perfect for relaxing after trips in the mountains or a day on the slopes. The cabin is large (109 sqm), spacious and open. The surrounding area has good hiking conditions both on foot, on skis and by bike. There is an opportunity for hunting and fishing. Right outside the door there is a well-developed network of well-prepared ski slopes. There is a short distance to the alpine facilities in Trysilfjellet (25 minutes) and Sälen (35 minutes). Here you have proximity to activities in summer and winter.

To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 8 km drive, to Hafjell/Hunderfossen Adventure Park 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 mins. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. Bring your family and friends to this great place along Glomma in Østerdalen. The property has a beach line and very good opportunities for both swimming, fishing, paddling with a canoe or kayak. In addition, an annex, gapahuk and sauna are available. Hot tub open from Jun-Oct. The cabin has three spacious bedrooms with 8 beds and the annex has in addition 3 beds. The cabin has a good standard with a new well-equipped kitchen and cozy bathroom. Laundry room and extra toilet in the basement. Great outdoor areas with fire pits.

Cozy guesthouse

Cozy guest house with 2 bedrooms with double beds. You have to go through the first bedroom to get to the other. Therefore best suited for families or good friends, as well as the possibility to set up an extra bed in the "library". It is about a 10-minute walk down to the city center with the railway station and the University and 3 km up to Birkebeinerstarten, as well as about 3 km to Rena camp. There is also a gazebo/greenhouse on the property that can be used to have your morning coffee or relax with a good book

Beautifully situated log cabin 10-min drive from the center of Lillehammer. Short distance to the Birkebeineren Ski Stadium, which offers an extensive network of hiking trails and cross-country skiing tracks. 15-min drive to Nordseter, about 20 minutes to Sjusjøen, both with excellent trails for hiking and skiing. The ski jumping hill is 3-minute drive from the cabin and offers a great view. 5-min drive to grocery store. For alpine skiing, Hafjell is 25 min away, and Kvitfjell is about 1 hour.

The old cabin has tow rooms one a bedroom , the other a living rom. The furniture is old in this rom , and has some old paintings as well. There are a stove to make it warm, nice and cosy. Firewood for free. There are plenty of space to sit outside, in wintertime this is on the starting place for Birken skirace. 3km from Rena.
