Guest room in a private home

My home is located in a small town on a dirt road and very private. The rt 1 coast/ocean is about 25 minutes away and offers lighthouses, lobster and Maine hospitality. This guest room has a full size bed that is stacked with pillows and an antique quilt, dresser and closet space. The bathroom boasts of a shower as well as a claw foot bathtub should you wish to lay back and relax. There is a television, and an air conditioner in the warmer months as well as a ceiling fan as an alternative.

Relax and enjoy this 1940's Bar Harbor coastal cottage, nicely updated with all the style and loveliness of the era. 5 minutes from Bar Harbor Village & Acadia National Park, Half Moon is central to most of Mount Desert Island and the park. Grounds are serene & magical. You will love this home and setting. The LR and sun room are spectacular for breakfast or late afternoon drinks. Enjoy several sitting areas inside and out.

4 Black Friar Inn and Pub Turret Room

Climb the spiral staircase to the second story turret tower which has a comfortable chair and couch, TV and fireplace. You will feel like you are on top of the world in this room with a king bed and En Suite bathroom with a shower. Breakfast is included with the room. Please see our website for the menu. Our in town location gives our guests a three minute walk to the harbor and downtown Bar Harbor. One dedicated parking space, Fridge, TV, & WIFI. Located on the third floor.

The room is decorated with fine paintings, has a king bed, day bed, a sitting room with a mini fridge, private bath with a tub/shower, and a TV. This rooms tub is an antique pedestal tub w/ no rails. No A/C, not pet friendly. Fans provided. Can sleep 2 adults and 1 child.
