The Barn is a unique old stone barn but modern, with an open plan sitting/kitchen/ eating area with cathedral ceiling and a long narrow window overlooking the Salt Lake to one side, a small window looking down to the sea on the other. There are two bedrooms and a wet room style bathroom (no bathtub) but plenty of hot water and underfloor heating. It is wonderfully quiet, a real retreat for those who just want to escape. This memorable place is anything but the ordinary. Top notch, high end tiny House in excellent location. Positioned just a stone throw from Roscommon Castle and just a 5 minute walk into vibrant town centre. It is also less than a 5 minute drive to the train station. Our quaint retreat is also right beside the Omniplex cinema. Please notice, it's a tiny house! It has everything you need for a comfortable stay for 2 adults. Additional guest possible on pull out couch.

The apartment is very peaceful,calm and private and is the perfect base for a relaxing getaway or a longer stay to enjoy Athlone and the Hidden Heartlands. Easy to reach the Wild Atlantic Way, Connemara, Cliffs of Moher, Burren and midway between Galway and Dublin Large garden and stream with country lanes to explore, encounter local wildlife and enjoy the sunsets. Bright apartment and sunroom, attached to the main house but with own private entrance and facilities.

A newish build, at just a mile and a half (2.6km) from Eyre Square, my place feels as if in the middle of the country. It’s a separate, self-contained, completely private extension to the main house. Having your own transport is preferable, with lots of parking space around the extension/chalet. Other than food, everything else is provided. Do not book our space if you want the buzz & noise of the city, as we are on its outskirts.

The glamping site is based on a small farm with alpacas, chickens, pygmy goats and sheep.
