Birch Burn Retreat, a former 19th-century church, offers a tranquil escape with forest walks, hammock relaxation and firepit nights. It has electricity, heat pump, wifi, and a simple kitchen with a mini fridge. Accommodations include double/queen beds for four adults or a larger family with camp cots. It has everything needed to cook food, be warm and sleep deeply as well as nearby hiking and skiing trails leading to rivers and cliffs. It is heated by a wood stove or electric space heater and has a outdoor composting toilet and a shared indoor bathroom. Come enjoy the only dome of it's kind in the whole country!

Welcome to Brule Point, only 10 minutes from the village of Tatamagouche, NS. Our home is located on a 4 acre, private, waterfront lot on the shores of Tatamagouche Bay. A somewhat stony, rocky shoreline at tide, but fairly nice sandy beach at low tide, perfect for wading, strolling, and swimming (at your own risk).
