Our English cottage dating from the 1700s is snug in winter and stunning in summer! With all mod-cons, Chicory Cottage is ideal for exploring the Cotswolds. We're on the edge of a small historic town, with countryside views from the garden. Malmesbury's pubs, restaurants and famous abbey are a short walk, or you can head in the other direction for a country hike. Or just make yourself at home in front of the cosy log-burner, work remotely with our super-fast wifi, or relax in the pretty garden.

This self-contained, easily accessible cottage is set in beautiful gardens in the South Cotswolds. A peaceful location in a small hamlet with two pubs within a 5-minute drive. It is 3½ miles from the fascinating historic town of Malmesbury, the oldest borough in England with an Abbey containing the tomb of King Athelstan, the 1st King of all England. Malmesbury has been designated the best place to live in South West 2026 by the Sunday Times. You are welcome to explore the tranquil gardens.

There are a broad range of activities within the Cotswolds lakes such as plenty of walks nearby including the Thames path & bird watching points. 10 min drive away is Cirencester a vibrant market town.

The Old Groom's House is a detached, two-bedroom cottage in the grounds of our historic home, The Old Rectory. A contactless stay is available. Its charming setting is instantly relaxing, with a private terrace overlooking mature gardens, dairy pasture and the tranquil River Avon. Renovated recently, so everything is fresh, bright and immaculate, it sleeps 4 people comfortably, and there’s a double sofa bed if you have extra guests. There’s plenty of secure parking behind electric gates.

Situated just 5 minutes drive from historic Malmesbury, a self-contained studio coach house, ideal for exploring the beautiful Cotswolds. The coach house includes a kingsize bed, sofa, TV, Wi-fi and separate shower room. The kitchen area has an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and wine cooler. There is a large secluded garden for your own use, seating area and car parking. We are also a 10 minute walk (or a 2 minute car drive) from the popular Horse & Groom Pub.

The hut is very private with its own track and parking.
