It is very private , yet Starbucks is right next door. Private entry and off street parking. This space has everything you need full kitchen, washer&dryer, queen size bed and fold out couch , plus a Play and Pack for the Littles. Walkable neighborhood , parks market and restaurants within walking distance.

The Story House

Between the lights of Portland and the slopes of Mt. Hood stands a whimsical woods of giant firs, feathery cedars and old mossy maples. Midst a maze of paths and ferns is a cozy cabin full of delightful art. Browse the uncommon birdhouses and their stories. Just steps outside the French doors is a lighted path to the bathhouse (the only bathroom) with toilet, shower, clawfoot tub and washer/dryer. Walk the paths, soak in the hot tub and end your day in the peace and quiet of a private cabin.

Welcome to our Clackamas Riverfront Guest House—a peaceful riverside retreat blending rustic charm and modern comfort. Smart tvs, hammocks and a rooftop firepit are in the outdoor entertainment area. LGBT & BIPOC friendly. Gym, hot tub and laundry are shared with owners but guests have priority access. Close to Mt Hood Wilderness (45mins) & Downtown Portland (15mins).

The cabin was originally built in the 1920's as a vacation home for a predominate Portland Judge. A century later and the spirit of this escape is alive and well with a full remodel providing modern amenities in a beautiful and rustic setting.
