Guests can enjoy relaxing by the swimming pool, picnicking in the orchard, walking the surrounding countryside, kayaking or visiting the local Chateaux or towns. Situated on the banks of the Charente, the appartment forms a wing of an ancient priory, set in it's own walled seven hectare park. With it's own private terrace overlooking the river and a twenty metre swimming pool, the park also contains formal gardens, rose walk and stone steps down to the river. Located in the heart of a picturesque village, surrounded by vineyards, the house is a short walk to a Michelin starred restaurant and local bar. The Cognac Golf course is a 3 minute drive.

This idyllic French stone house can sleep up to five people. It has two bedrooms, a large living room with a woodburner, a fitted kitchen with a large dining table and two shower rooms, one on each floor. The rear bedroom has a balcony that overlooks the garden with a ruined abbey and the Charentaise countryside beyond. Outside there's a summer kitchen, a small terrace and a lawned garden. The village has a delightful cake shop, a popular restaurant, artisanal stores and a museum.
