The Bothy - a cosy cottage with stunning views

Glorious spring has arrived and the peaceful Wiltshire countryside has much to offer! There are beautiful walks to be had on the Salisbury Plain, at Stourhead, at Lacock Abbey to name but three and the cosy Bothy to come back to. Beautifully decorated, with a light airy feel and old pine flooring, it sits in our peaceful garden and has uninterrupted views of a charming, secluded Combe. For walkers, or anyone wishing to explore the West Country (and Bath) this is an ideal location.

The North Transept

The North Transept is part of our converted Victorian Gothic church. We've done all the conversion ourselves - the high ceilings and beautiful Gothic windows make it a unique space. It's in a small hamlet in a beautiful hidden valley surrounded by fields; there's lovely walking from the door and lots of local wildlife including roe and muntjac deer, pheasants, red kites and owls. It's easy to get to a wide range of local attractions like Lacock and Avebury and only half an hour to Bath.

1 double bedroom (extra single bed available on request) with a private entrance. It stands in a courtyard behind gates which open onto a quiet road that leads to The Ridgeway and Salisbury Plain. There is off street parking in the courtyard which is part of a walled garden. The village is especially well provided with a range of shops including a Chemist, Butcher, Post Office and a Co-op which is open until 10.00pm. There is a Pub and two good take-away outlets.
