“We stayed for two nights, on arrival we were greeted by Lynda, she was very welcoming and gave us good local information as we’ve never been round the area before. She’d made us fresh bread, and left us some eggs from her hens, lovely touches! Although the place is small it’s perfect for two people, it had all the amenities, including sky Q and fast WiFi. Bathroom facilities were very good, the shower was amazing! Lovely little place, would recommend to anyone!”
Conveniently located for the market town of Ashby-de-la-Zouch, with it’s Castle, country walks on the door step with the added bonus of a local Public House (The Black Lion) selling a selection of real ales, across the lane. This makes this the perfect place to explore the National Forest and everything it has to offer. For longer stays, sheets/towels and a full clean will be carried out every 3 days.
“We had a lovely 2 night stay in this beautiful accommodation, it was spotlessly clean & lots of extra little touches. Loved the decor. Fabulous shower. Well equipped & modern kitchen. Welcome pack very helpful, which included milk, cereal, butter, bread & jams. The hosts were extremely helpful. It was our 1st trip away with our 5 month old puppy & it was just perfect with lovely walks on our doorstep & lots of dog-friendly pubs, cafes & restaurants nearby, one being directly across the road! Would definitely recommend & hope to return next year.”

“I had such a lovely time at Charlotte's house. It really was a home away from home. Great kitchen facilities, very clean, comfortable bed & lovely host. It was easy to communicate with her, she responded very quickly. I would definitely stay again! Cats so friendly, I loved them.”
