We have the rare privilege of living on 3 acres in town! Our home is 4600sf and shaped like an "L." The bottom part of the "L" is our guest house and we are super excited to welcome guests to our new bnb. We are only 6 miles from beautiful downtown Coeur d' Alene and only 3 miles to Hayden Lake. We are also very close Triple Play Water Park, Silverwood Theme Park, the Silverlake Mall, Target, lots of restaurants and, of course, Walmart.
“This home is beautiful inside and out. This was my families first time staying at an AirBnb and I was very happy we chose Theresa's home to be the first. We were celebrating my daughters and my late Mothers birthdays. The hospitality we got made this stay so much more comfortable and enjoyable. It was very nicely decorated, had everything you could possibly think of or need, she left some breakfast items and goodies, even treats for the dogs! We used the BBQ, which was set up and ready to go for us. My daughter and her friends enjoyed the warm weather and had a good time being able to laugh and have fun. The Hart home was a great way to spend such special days during the isolation we are currently under. Much appreciated that they opened their home to us. Thank you so much. We will definitely be back!!!”
Channa Acres- This 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom 600 square-foot guest house is an apartment inside a pole-barn building. It is located in the back of our forested 8-acre property. There is a covered parking garage, a large patio area with a BBQ, and a fire pit. You can enjoy a “glamping" experience in your own Private Idaho! DIY breakfast items like farm fresh eggs are included. We are located 13 miles north of Coeur d' Alene, 10 minutes from Silverwood, and 35 minutes south of Sandpoint.
“Nothing can replace the fresh mountain air and birds chirping in the woods next to you. This place was a best mini vacation I've had in a while. Fresh eggs and rhubarb bread were there to greet us. There is a a nice big garage to park in, a lovely heater in the bathroom, great collection of family DVD's and board games to play. My daughter loved the neighbor's dog Hank and played with him for hours! Fire-pit was beautiful & stocked with wood and kindling. They were quick to respond to questions and amazing hosts. Anna even let my daughter hold a baby chicken! If you get a chance to visit don't pass it up! The pictures don't do it justice ;) We can't wait to visit again!”

Very quiet and peaceful with great mountain views. There is plenty of parking. This area is great for leisurely walks. The closest neighbor is hundreds of yards away.
“Tom's place was the best Airbnb experience we have had to date! We went there because I had a surgery in the area and needed a place to recover for a few days before the long drive home. The first part that stands out about Tom's place is Tom himself! He is the epitome of generosity and thoughtfulness and is an EXCELLENT communicator! We have never had such an attentive host, particularly when living in an apartment that is completely separate from the main house. He was warm and welcoming and 100% understanding and open to my surgery being the reason for our stay. He offered to help in any way he could and we felt very comfortable knowing that we could ask for anything we needed. He even remembered that he had a wheelchair stored in his garage and got it out for us so that I would still be able to get out during my recovery! We were so blown away and grateful, particularly when he offered to bring us some plates of a home-cooked meal he was making for his own family on one of the nights - he is an incredible cook! What a delicious meal! He also found something that we had left behind and offered to mail it to us a few days after we arrived home. His two small dogs are beautiful and so well behaved! Tom's place is in a beautiful and quiet area, surrounded by nature and relaxation and is perfect for getting away from it all. The neighbours are far away and there are trees and natury smells everywhere. There are beautiful flowers just outside the apartment and bees buzzing peacefully around, with place to sit and relax outside. The apartment is beautifully decorated and appointed with thoughtful touches like many extra pillows , extra bath towels, extra dish towels, extra quilts, and a soft velvety blanket, a tray table for eating in front of the TV, coat hangers, baskets of varying sizes for storage, heaters and air conditioning, an air temperature and humidity gauge, all kinds of cooking options including microwave, toaster, toaster oven, hot plates, and all the cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery you could ever need, along with spices and cooking basics. The fridge and freezer are a great size, particularly for a long stay like ours and there were soft drinks and cold water inside. Tom provided fresh fruit, eggs, bagels, chocolate covered peanuts and fruit jelly that were waiting for us on the table when we arrived. The TV is HUGE and the sofa is sooooo comfortable - probably even more comfortable than the bed it folds out into. The main bed itself is really comfy too. The bathroom is a great size, particularly the shower! It has a main shower head and a hand-held one that can both be on at the same time. Water pressure was great and we had hot water for a good long time. The towels were fluffy and soft, the toilet paper was excellent quality - very soft Charmin - and there was a lot extra. There were also extra things you might need in the cupboard below the sink like spare toothpastes, vaseline, first aid kit, hairdryer, etc. The accessible support bars next to the toilet and in the shower were a MUST for my limited mobility after surgery and we were so grateful for them! The internet was faster than expected for such a far from it all area and provided a great time streaming episodes of series so that we could keep ourselves entertained during our confinement to the house. Tom was more than willing to provide all kinds of suggestions for things to do in the area and we wished that we could get out and do more, but hope to be back again when I am not physically incapacitated so that we can try all that the area has to offer. He did provide recommendations for restaurants to try and we LOVED Nadine's Mexican Kitchen and the steak from Westwood Brewing Company - we ordered pickup from both and were blown away by the affordability and the deliciousness. It was so convenient to be in such a peaceful nature area, with a supermarket and restaurants just 5 - 10 minutes drive away. We will definitely be back at Tom's place if we get a chance to get up to Northern Idaho again!”
