Casa Sarapiquí is a classical all-wooden, two story house, located half a mile from the main road to Puerto Viejo de Sarapiquí, surrounded by a bamboo forest, a plantain field and a pond, just next to La Selva Biological Station (OTS).
“We stayed two days at Mariano, Nono and Blanca's. Simply magical moment ... The splendid family wooden villa, entirely renovated by Mariano, is as if placed on a small green hill. At the foot of it, a lake, a banana plantation, a bamboo forest, and not far, a small black sand beach by the river, all in the middle of the jungle of Sarapiquí, overflown by birds more beautiful than each other. Chez Mariano, you are at home, in the second. Large, spacious bedrooms with mosquito net windows, a large, fresh living room, a fully-equipped kitchen available with basic products, and an immaculate bathroom. We have never had a host so attentive, energetic and enthusiastic, the comfort and the needs of his guests is at the center of Mariano's concerns which bends over backwards to make our time in this small family as perfect as possible! Mission accomplished with the congratulations of the Jury. Thank you very much for your welcome and see you soon! Pura Vida”

“Everything was perfect ! We were pleasantly surprised by this exceptional place. We did not expect to sleep in such a place at this price. A great welcome, a beautiful setting & a very good breakfast. Thanks to Sharon and his team. You can go there with your eyes closed!”
Come and relax to this beautiful cabin, located near the main tourist attractions from the area, Pozo Azul, Tirimbina and Rio Sarapiqui where you can do rafting, canopy, rappel and enjoy the pineapple and chocolate Tours.
“Our family loved staying here. Sunrises had the most idyllic vibe and colors. Every morning we were welcomed by playfully curious Capuchin Monkeys, a vast panoply of birds (Toucan, doves, hummingbird, many more... that we enjoyed googling about), an adorable friendly dog, a squirrel, ... We could also hear Howler Monkeys. The 3 beds were perfect for our family of 5, (there was also an air-mattress and a divan that we didn't use). The bathroom is located downstairs but our youngest (7 years old) ones had no trouble during nightly bathroom visits. The bathroom towels and bed linens were perfect and very clean. The kitchen was very well equipped and great to prepare our own meals, until we found a great Soda El Kora, at a simply 5 minute drive, on road 126. (Their food is simply delicious and their owners are very friendly and welcoming) We also did the Tirimbina Rainforest Night tour (One of the suggestions left for us) and it was a must do again when we return. We loved our stay! Thank you for making our first trip to Costa Rica so special.”
