Beautiful, private lakefront home located just 20 feet from the water's edge. With a little over 1300 square feet spread out over 3 levels, there is a private loft with 2 separate sleeping spaces, large master bedroom with balcony on the main level and a daylight basement with bed and sitting area. Hear the call of the loons with your morning coffee. Pick blueberries in season from the kayak or canoe. Plenty of hiking and biking opportunities right out of the front door.
“Oh my gosh. This place far exceeded my expectations. I find that a lot of places that allow dogs, smell like dogs. This house didn’t have carpet or a lot of soft furniture to allow smells to happen. I cannot stress enough how amazingly clean it was. We also had a ridiculous travel issue and our original planned 9:00pm arrival time turned into 4:45 in the morning. To come “home” to a place that had lights on, and was cool from the fans was so, so, wonderful. It felt very welcoming. The hosts were also very on top of things, the power went out in the area, we weren’t affected, but they checked on us. They also had drinking water in the fridge ready to go. That was huge for us water drinkers. Loved every thing.”

“My partner and I stayed here over a weekend and loved our experience. John and Kathie are such kind and warm hosts. We really felt at home- and we especially loved their sweet dogs! John went out of his way to take me downtown to go ice skating, and showed us where to go x-country skiing on the lake and the nearby trails (wonderful XC skiing by the way). They also gave us a great recommendation for dinner out. Breakfast was home cooked and so delicious, we felt so spoiled. Our room and shared bathroom were sparkling clean and we slept very well. I would recommend this spot to anyone. Thank you John and Kathie! We hope so be back some day soon!”

“Pauline met us upon arrival and immediately let us know the furnace had stopped working and the repair man was on the way. She also discovered the Wi-Fi wasn't working. A recent power outage had taken a toll. The furnace was working when we returned from our drive into town. The Wi-Fi had been working but quit again. Seriously it's beyond her control for good signal being in a remote area with so many trees! We didn't need the Wi-Fi so it didn't bother us at all. We're quite used to staying in remote areas and enjoy being "unplugged"! The house was spotless, well stocked with immediate necessities with comfortable furniture. Extra pillows and blankets, plenty of towels, extra sheets... thoughtful touches throughout! Pauline was close but never intrusive in any way. A perfect hostess. I definitely recommend a visit to her lovely lake home.”
