The area is particularly well known, among other things, for its development in the field of pottery. About a century ago 25 kilns were in operation with the potters creating pitchers and handmade utensils, representative of Sifnian art.

Sea & Sand is located in Herronissos, a picturesque coastal settlement at the northernmost point of the island. It consists of two double rooms, with a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom and a WC. It has a yard literally in front of the sea, which makes it an ideal choice for hosting a family with children. The beach of Kamares is about 130 meters and the distance from the center of the village is about 250 meters .
