“Absolutely beautiful Stay! From the first time you pull up, until you leave for the last time, you will feel at home at the Fincher’s Cabin. The pictures in the post don’t even begin to tell the beauty of this cabin. From the scenic sights inside and out, to the cleanliness, the attention to detail, and the abundant amount of amenities, this place is the complete deal!”
Rustic cabin in the woods, cozy inside with multiple spaces to enjoy the peaceful outdoors. Great for a romantic get-away or small family vacations. Open living area downstairs and large loft bedroom upstairs (sleeps 4), plus two decks and a screened-in front porch. Pet friendly! Conveniently nestled between DeSoto State Park & Falls, Little River Canyon and Mentone, and close to Fort Payne. Fireplace and outdoor firepit. Please note there is no air conditioning, just mountain breezes.
“Amazing!!!!!! Wonderful cabin in the perfect location, with incredible views. We really loved having our coffee on the screen in porch, and wrap around deck with all the trees and rock formations to start out the days. Cabin is perfectly located near Desoto Park (which is awesome), not far from Cloudland Canyon Park and Rock City (all worth it)! We spend our days hiking and taking in all the nature. Cabin is decorated perfect for its woodsy setting, and has more than enough deck seating. Cannot wait to stay here again and explore more of the local trails. We even got to see a bear near the cabin before we departed!!!”
The Nest is a 398-square foot tiny home nestled in the woods within a gated, tiny home community called Little River Escape. This cozy home was purchased by Frank and Jeanie in the summer of 2019, but Emmye and Seth, Airbnb Superhosts, continue to provide outstanding hospitality for guests. Amenities onsite include hiking, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, & fishing.
“Highly recommend staying here! You get so much for the money. Free kayaks, a pool, peace and quiet, peaceful fishing spot, access to the gym and fire pit by the river. There’s also a GAS fire pit next to the house by the grill. We really enjoyed roasting marshmallows here. The place was updated and beautiful with EVERYTHING you need. This place seemed a lot bigger than it is. There was bean bag furniture in the loft that was a perfect size for my two year old. We would stay again.”
