“What a gem!! This is one of the coolest places we have stayed . Large spacious loft and super clean which we loved! We rode our bikes to the lake which is super close you could easily walk. This loft has a huge bedroom also and another bed in the loft area. Plenty of room for a family. We took our camping grill and grilled out on the back deck. There are plenty of restaurants in the area if you prefer that. Loved this place! We will defiantly return. Thanks Nick!!”
My place is close to Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands It is located 2 miles north of Washburn or 10 miles south of Bayfield. Peaceful country setting, the long house is a freshly remodeled mobile home. Sorry, no pets.
“Was exactly what it was described. A nice cabin style in a perfect area. Very quiet and private place. It was clean and comfortable and was in the perfect location to go hiking and have fun in Bayfield. I will stay here again.”
The guest cottage is painted to resemble a Scandinavian retreat. Complete with separate bedroom, extra blow-up queen bed, kitchenette, wood burning stove, WiFi (the best we can find but not great!!!) and large television (DirecTV), it is a great getaway for a family or two couples. Owners live on property if you need anything. If you are a bit adventurous, we can put up the 2-person tent right next to Lake Superior. Fall asleep to the sound of the waves. The entire property is smoke free.
“A red little cottage near the water packs a great big experience. We had everything we needed thanks to Kevin and Steve. We were met with fresh cut flowers and baked chocolate chip cookies upon arrival and it only got better from there. K&S have a helpful binder with helpful suggestions for things to do and answered any question we had which really puts you at ease when you’re someplace new. The cottage itself feels like you’re at your family’s shared cabin, with charming decor, books and puzzles, some staples in the fridge, pancake mix on the shelf, soft towels and a fireplace to keep you warm. And that VIEW - Wow! Don’t miss your chance to have your own big experience in northern WI at Kevin and Steve’s little Norrsken cottage.”
