“You cannot go wrong in staying at Matt & Lynn's inviting Air BNB. If you would like to enjoy what Central Maine has to offer in Penobscot County and enjoy a wonderful, relaxing time - check out Matt & Lynn's place. A warm, inviting, and comfortable place to stay with many nice touches to make you feel right at home. The kitchen & dining area were outstanding for a wonderful home-cooked meal with ingredients that can be bought in the area or enjoy the fresh local seafood they sell that Matt & Lynn provide at their ice cream shop, which by way, is also outstanding! Enjoy the beauty of Central Maine, it's plentiful woods, beautiful ponds, lakes and streams. Enjoy the many small farms dotting the area and the splendor of the fall foliage trip. Excellent for Birders and scenic drives to see the various wildlife Maine has to offer. We couldn't have had a better time! Warmest regards Michael Knell”
Quiet, spot on Etna pond, about one hour+ away from Acadia National park. Nice pond for canoeing and fishing. located about 20 minuets west of Bangor. Very isolated from other camps as it is one of two camps located on a private 83 acre property. Lots of wildlife and for viewing, deer, eagles, loons, etc.
“When my husband and I travel back to Maine to visit family in Bangor we normally stay in a hotel in town. This time we decided to explore an Airbnb option and chose Robert's place on Etna pond. We are from the Bangor area and knew that going back and forth to town would be a bit of a drive. We were somewhat hesitant about staying in Etna for that reason. I am so glad we made the pond choice. Robert's place is just a short jump to the highway and an easy jaunt to Bangor. The setting is exactly what we wanted--lots of nature and serenity. The cabin itself has any amenity you would need and is spotless. This was our first Airbnb experience and won't be our last. Robert and his wife have set the bar high for our expectations going forward. They are terrific people--well done, Bob and Brenda.”
