I love its peacefulness and the presence of the natural world.

My place is close to lovely lakes and parks, you can discover art and culture and is near the medieval town of Lassay la Chateaux. My place is amazing for families with children as there is a Go Karting track nearby and plenty of other things for them to do.

(This path leads to the Chapelle du Chêne, a medieval tree renowned for its miracles) And 6 km away are Lake Coco-Plage (swimming, activities) and the spectacular Saut du Cerf canyon in the vast Sillé forest.

The wi fi has now been upgraded to fibre & is rated ‘very fast ‘ As well as the two small lakes there is a dell and bog garden. Surrounding area is excellent for walkers & cyclists. Bikes are available for guests at no extra cost.

Apolline's house

La Maison d’Apolline is a charming little house located in Lassay-les-Châteaux, 2 km from Lassay Castle and 15 km from Bagnoles-de-l’Orne in Normandy (a 15-minute drive). The house is composed of a ground floor (entrance, mezzanine, living room, dining area and kitchen) and a floor (bedroom and bathroom) fully equipped and offering free wifi. The metal staircase is central. The decoration is neat. The equipment is rather high-end.

Le Vieux Fournil still has the original bread oven opening into the living space in this wonderfully quirky building. The kitchen and bathroom are housed in the original woodstore and pig sty and the bedroom is converted in the hayloft. The house is 2 km’s from the historic town of Lassay-les-Châteaux with its fortified medieval chateau, winding streets and gardens.
