We welcome you to stay at our home and in the beautiful surroundings of West Dorset. We offer a lovely one bedroom (double bed) self catering annexe which has all the comforts that you'll need! It is well equipped and has fresh towels, bed linen, tea towels and everyday essentials. Relax and enjoy beautiful Cattistock. We have a beautiful village with a historic pub the Fox and Hounds and a village shop. August 26 update. We cannot offer the BBQ and fire pit until we are out of the heat wave

It is all on one level,we are able to rent out the whole cottage also which creates an additional 2 bedrooms for extended family - we rarely rent this out to another party and is mostly empty.

Our bespoke, self contained shepherds hut is sat looking over our beautiful cider orchard in the heart of Dorset complete with its own outdoor fire pit/bbq and exclusive wood fired hot tub. We have a range of produce to offer guests to cook in the hut or on the bbq outside and a farm shop selling our ciders, meat and local produce. There are great pubs, breweries and restaurants in the locality to enjoy plus cycle routes and walks for all abilities with stunning views of the Dorset countryside

Ford Mead Studio ( ‘meadow by the ford’) is a comfortable, spacious apartment on the first floor of a delightful stone barn. A perfect getaway for couples and solo travellers, it can also adapt for a family. The barn is next door to our lovely c.15th Grade II thatched cottage, in the village of Chetnole, with its award-winning pub and c.13th church. You are surrounded by beautiful countryside and next to the cobbled ford that crosses the River Wriggle, with views across fields to the village.

A beautifully appointed one-bedroom annexe adjoining our charming Georgian home in the heart of a traditional Dorset village. The self-contained one bed cottage offers a peaceful countryside stay with a fully equipped kitchen, sitting room with a wood-bur ner, and private outdoor patio. Guests have exclusive use of the entire annexe throughout their stay. There is also additional accommodation available within the main house, as well as a glamping hut (see our separate listings).

Come and stay and discover the highlights of the peaceful countryside to the north of the stunning Jurassic coastline. You'll be within walking distance of the wonderful Fox & Hounds pub, on the doorstep of fantastic walks, and the amenities of nearby Maiden Newton, which has a train station, garage and a charming village shop. The cottage is a home away from home!

The Hideaway

Cozy and stylish suite. You have a private entrance and staircase, cloakroom, living area, bedroom, en suite bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, microwave, fridge, free WiFi, Smart TV, and Bose soundbar. Although there is no kitchen, you have a microwave and there are 3 village pubs that all offer delicious home cooked food. There is also a fabulous well stocked village shop. We have 2 friendly cats but they can easily be kept out of the space if required.
