We enjoyed a fire by the water watching the sunset, an early evening kayak, and the peacefulness of the area. The bed was also very comfy. It was our first visit to Pictou county. A seasonal community on the ocean and a newly established farm (vineyard, orchard and berries). Designed for active Boomers who enjoy the outdoors, physical activities or just relaxing. Activities range from kayaking, walking trails, swimming in the pool or the ocean, taking a sauna, BBQ at the outdoor kitchen, camp fires or hanging out in one of the studios or patios. The bathroom is a separate new building beside the tent with a composting toilet, no shower.

The ocean, with beautiful dock and kayaks to use at your leisure, pool and coolest sauna I’ve ever seen as well as fresh blueberries to pick and so many gorgeous out buildings with all the details thought out. Plus acres and acres of field and wildflowers. And the night sky is left uninterrupted by the city lights ( there’s even a telescope to use to take in the full night glory). I wish I had more time to stay and just relax at this place. I stayed in the “glamping” tent and it felt nothing like camping at all. Comfy bed and running water, fridge and microwave; everything has been considered. If you stay here you won’t be disappointed! Doug was easy to contact and was helpful with directions and gave me great road tips as there was construction on the nearest exit and I had to take a different route. I would highly recommend this beautiful spot! ”
