“What a perfect little getaway in a wonderful and unspoilt part of England right next to the river thames. Perfect place and host who is friendly and accommodating. High quality breakfast items provided as well as very thoughtful personal touches in a warm and cosy space (underfloor heating throughout was amazing!). Would highly recommend and would return in a heartbeat! Thanks so much Sarah for your hospitality.”

Sun cottage Is a most charming, beautifully presented period stone cottage dating back to the 1700s. The cottage is part thatched with very good parking and a south facing garden and idyllic countryside views to the front and rear. The cottage is located on the edge of the sought after village of Great Haseley on a quiet no through country lane. For the keen walker, it is a dream come true. There are at least thirty walks you can do from your doorstep.
“We were very pleased by the quietness of this rural location and the lovely comfortable cottage. The enclosed garden was ideal for our dog. We enjoyed our stay at Sun Cottage very much and actually extended the stay. Also thanks to Debbie for her flexibility and rapid answers to any questions we had. We would have stayed even longer but the government's lockdown came into operation so we had to return home but we expect to be coming back when the threat from covid-19 has gone. On a general point, I wish Airbnb would not require an image of my driving licence before they would allow me to book because of the risk of identity theft. However, this is nothing to do with the host, this is a problem Airbnb needs to address. We would certainly recommend Sun Cottage to potential guests and look forward to our next visit.”
