The Bor Sang traditional Chiangmai handicraft district is just 15 mins away. The house is conveniently located near the local market and mini mart, and is 30 kilometers and takes about 40 minutes from Chiang Mai center and airport.
“Great house for little money. The housekeeper was not there to welcome us but we could easily check in ourselves, the entrance gate and outside doors were just loose. Do bring a flashlight or provide enough battery on your mobile phone because at night it is very dark, especially if you want to go to the nearby 7/11. The house is spacious and equipped with all facilities (air conditioning in all rooms, fans, different lighting options, washing machine and dryer, cooker and oven (no microwave)). The terrace is wonderfully spacious with beautiful views. As indicated in the description, it is primarily a place of residence for those who want to go exploring from the city. Certainly in rush hour it is a short drive to the center of Chiang Mai, not recommended. We enjoyed it!”

“Khun Montira is a great host! She's exceptionally responsive and very willing to help if needed. Her English is impeccable, so if you don't speak Thai, don't worry at all about booking her property in the mountains. The home is beautiful and such a relaxing refuge in the middle of nature, and not too difficult to get to if you're comfortable driving on winding mountain roads. All of her suggested sightseeing activities were spot-on; we enjoyed visiting all the places she had listed for us. Do take standard precautions as when staying anywhere in Thailand! Be sure to use bug spray, and if you use the kitchen, it's best to keep it clean right after preparing food. It's the middle of the jungle, so expect there to be the normal amount of bugs about. Other than that, if you're looking to get out of the city and spend some time in the beautiful nature around Chiang Mai, don't hesitate to stay at K. Montira's place.”
