“You can’t go wrong at Rodrigos, it’s spotless, in a perfect location and he’s the best host. It’s just a few minutes up the hill from Escazu, and when he says it has the best view of the city, he is not kidding. We enjoyed a glass of wine watching the city sparkle below us, it was magical. During the daylight hours, you can see 4 volcanoes. The guesthouse is immaculate and very comfortable, the bed was a treat. If you’re looking for a convenient location in San Jose, I would have to say, don’t hesitate, Rodrigo is a great host and you just can’t go wrong. Enjoy!”
Located in the beautiful mountains of “San José”. Just 35 minutes away from “Juan Santamaria International Airport” (SJO) 30 minutes away from downtown “San Jose” 15 minutes away from “Santa Ana” and “Escazu”
“Getting to Rebeca's cottage was a little challenging but it is definitely worth it. Make sure you have a nice rental car and downshifting to climb those hills helps. The view from the the cottage alone is worth it. The cottage itself is clean, decorated wonderfully, comfortable, private and relaxing. Rebeca was there waiting for us and answered any questions we had. We slept wonderfully and hiked nice trails around the cottage the 2nd day. It was really a peaceful place and Rebeca even left and came back with a lighter for us so we could start a fire in the fire place. The location has a washer a dryer which is a huge perk when you're living out of a bookbag for weeks. We ate wonderful food at the restaurant just down the street/hill. It was delicious. This Airbnb is a great experience and Rebeca is a wonderful host. We highly recommend!”
