The Retreat at Groenfontein is a Victorian farm house with sweeping gardens, 4 comfortable standard rooms in the main house (quoted rate) and 4 garden rooms with magnificent views of the mountains - an additional charge. DINNER AND B/FAST INCLUDED IN THE RATE. Meals have a health emphasis and vegetarians are welcome. We have a pool, a dam and rock-pools in the river and challenging walking-trails. We are in a nature reserve on 560ha bordering the 129.000ha Swartberg World Heritage Site.

Prashanti - place of peace - is our beautifully styled home where Frida Kahlo meets India in the Klein Karoo. The house sleeps 5 or 6 people in the 2 en suite bedrooms with double beds, an Indian day bed suitable for a child & a sleeper couch in the spacious lounge area. For those larger parties, a separate adjoining accommodation for 2 can be provided in our tranquil Rose Cottage. Delicious breakfast baskets with homemade sourdough bread are available on request with a days notice.

Our ostrich nest is an active ostrich farm about 25 km from Oudtshoorn. You'll love my place because we're taking a tour of our ostriches here for our house guests. Experience ostriches up close!!! We DO not offer ostrich riding for animal welfare reasons. The tour starts at 4 p.m., 90 minutes long AND only in German . Experience a barbecue evening(Braai) and the incredible starry sky, My place is suitable for couples and families (with kids).

Kia Ora Guest House Family Queen Room 3

This 19 m² spacious queen room has a queen XL bed and a separate single bed in an adjoining room for a toddler, no air-conditioner. The room has a 170L freezer fridge combo, tea & coffee making facilities, 32″ TV, a clothing cupboard and load shedding lights. Guests have access to a bathroom and a separate toilet. Wifi is available throughout the property. Room only rate, breakfast is not included. Sorry no aircon, only ceiling fan.

Travellers Rest in Prince Albert is a Guesthouse/B&B. We have three double rooms and one twin room. (Airbnb prices are for two guests in one room). All of our en-suite air-conditioned rooms are set in our semi-mature garden. Each room has its own private entrance and private stoep. Complementary coffee, tea, bottled water and rusks.
