Cosy Cottage

Kick back and relax in this calm, cosy space in the rolling countryside and just a 40 minute drive from Knock Airport. For something more lively there’s Westport and Castlebar, with their shops, bars and the beautiful coastline and beaches of the Wild Atlantic Way. The 2 friendly cats, Muffin and Bruce, prefer to live outside but like to say hello. When not away working, I stay in a chalet on a separate piece of land close by but not overlooking the cottage. I do respect guest privacy.

Unique Hot-tub Chalet with Balcony Views

ÈALÚ direct Irish translation for ESCAPE is the name of this unique place. This little oasis is positioned on a south facing hill, overlooking a wide expanse of valley, tucked away from everything but yet a 5min drive from Westport Town. A wood-fired hot tub sits on the spacious deck, overlooking the valley. After bathing in the hot tub make your way up the external staircase to the balcony (which connects to the bedroom), where you can relax in the hammock and take in the amazing views.

Curlew Beag

This private studio apt has everything you'll need for your stay, including a private entrance, en-suite bathroom, kitchenette with all the appliances you'll need. You can walk to the sea in just under one minute while unwinding in our sauna after. At Curlew Beag, We have an Irish saying that goes 'An té a bhíonn siúlach, bíonn scéalach', which simply translates to 'he who travels has stories to tell'. This is a small yet bright and airy studio chalet with a large veranda that serves as an extension of the living area allowing for alfresco dining, relaxing down-time overlooking a natural, calming vista or an opportunity for some early morning yoga stretches for those so incline.The setting is tranquil and secluded, approx 7km from Westport town and 2 km from a local shop. Food is supplied for a light continental style breakfast.
