The area is quiet but has all the amenities nearby. Great base for exploring the local area and further a far. Great access routes to marginal and A5 motorway.

Quinta Velha, meaning “old farm”, lies in a private forest between Sintra’s old town and the historic monuments perched on the mountain top. In 2020 a significant multi-year renovation project was completed, converting the old stables and summer residence into a modern private family home, deeply respecting all existing historic features. A century old chapel with unique panels of traditional hand-painted tiles and fountain add to the beauty of the natural setting.

The apartment has a clean, minimal interior, balancing traditional character with a contemporary coastal feel. Our favorite spot: the hammock on the terrace!
