Modern relaxed lake front home with floor to ceiling windows giving you amazing waterfront views. Open bright layout with wood burning stove in the living room to warm up on chilly evenings. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, oven and stove. Master bedroom has a king size bed with ensuite washroom. Second bedroom has queen size bed and third bedroom has 2 twin beds. There is also a main washroom with bathtub and shower. High speed fiber optic internet is available.

2 bedroom cottage on the Mira River Cottages property. Open concept living area and kitchen. 2 single beds in each bedroom, and futon which can sleep 1 or 2 persons. Less than 30 mins to Sydney, 17 mins to the Wildlife Park, and 45 mins to the Fortress of Louisbourg. And with a short walk from the cottage you will be greeted with the breathtaking view of the Mira River. We welcome you all year round where you can enjoy the 4 seasons of Cape Breton. Private downstairs 2-bedroom basement apartment located in the quiet community of South Bar. Take advantage of the view and great sunsets with a relaxing stroll down to the shore. Apartment is well suited for 2 couples, a small family or solo travelers. We cannot allow pets in our Airbnb…we are unable to make exceptions to this policy. Full size newly renovated kitchen available for cooking meals or prepping a light snack. Washer and dryer are also available for your convenience.

Woodsy Cabin on the Bras d'Or

Beautiful, rustic cabin sits cozily surrounded by woodlands. This one room retreat boasts a south west vista of the Bras d'Or Lake, includes a veranda with gorgeous sunsets, king size bed and access to the beach. It is half way between Baddeck and Sydney and a perfect spot for anyone travelling the Cabot Trail. Firewood provided for fire pit if the burn ban is not in effect. Kayaks are available to use at your own risk, with life jackets, and if you are experienced in paddling.

If you’re joining us in the summer we are only 1.5min from east bay sand bar an amazing beach and 3min from the walking trails:) complete with fire pit and large back deck.
