Welcome to Driftland Cabin, a charming, hand-crafted log home nestled on nearly 3 acres of lush, wooded land in the gated Old Timberline community with direct access to Dolly Sods. This inviting cabin offers rustic charm and modern amenities. The open living area with a cozy wood stove is perfect for relaxing and spending quality time with loved ones. On the rear deck, a sauna, hot tub, gas fire table and pizza oven are available. We provide a kayak for guests to enjoy on nearby Sand Run Lake.

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). I do have a 50.00 pet fee per dog up to 2 dogs only. It is located just above the entrance to the Smoke Hole Canyon with great fishing, beautiful scenery along the paved country curvy road. You can drive through the canyon and come out on Rt 28 just below the Smoke Hole caverns and gift shop. Then continue to Seneca Rocks and hike the rocks or drive to Nelson Rocks for zip lining.

The Honeybee is close to tons of day trip ideas into Wild & Wonderful West Virginia. There is a security camera on driveway/walk.

With sweeping, 270-degree views in three seasons and layers of mountains visible and lush greenery in summer, here you have space to truly disconnect, center yourself in nature, listen to the sounds of crickets, birds, and tree frogs, and enjoy dark sky star views. Enjoy the cooler weather at this altitude, the breeze through the trees, and the spectacular view from the spacious back porch and cozy lighted screened porch on our 5 acre lot.

1832 Historic Washington Bottom Farm Log Cabin

Welcome to our renovated 1832 Log Cabin on the grounds of the George William Washington and Sarah Wright Washington 19th century plantation. The cabin was the first structure built. Then came barns and slaves’ quarters (no longer standing). The dairy barn is now a woodworking shop and the bank barn was recently restored. The main house, built in 1835, is Greek Revival style. Today, our 300+acre is Certified Organic. We border the South Branch of the Potomac River. It’s ALMOST HEAVEN !

Located in a historic building on the main drag and adorned with 135-year old hardwood floors, original woodwork, local art, huge rain shower, and forest views - this tastefully styled flat feels like being transported to a 19th century boarding house. With espresso, galleries, live music, shops, food, and drinks steps away, you have the forests and a tiny cityscape just steps out your door. This apartment is offered at the Dandy Flats - a lovingly restored Inn.
