This property is within 15 minutes from 2 major hospitals, Marshall University, downtown Huntington and the Huntington Mall.

The cozy cottage is on the south facing slope in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains. It’s .5 mile from I-64 but feels much more rural than the convenient 7 minute drive to downtown Huntington. Its location on the outskirts of the city makes for nice relaxing evenings with the convenience of still being close. The master bedroom has a tv and queen size bed. The spare bedroom has a tv and full size bed. The living room has a tv, dvd player, and queen size pull out sleeper sofa.

The house is located in a family friendly neighborhood. The location is close to a few businesses that are within walking distance. There is a CVS pharmacy, Dollar Tree and Little Caesars less than a block away. The location of property is on the East End of Huntington with convenient access to Rt 60 and Rt 2 with connections to I64. The closest hospital is St Mary’s less than a mile away. Marshall University, The Joan C Edward’s stadium and other sports complexes are 1.5 miles away.

You’ll feel at home in this 100 year old house. Right in town but it has a secluded feel. Large rooms, laundry room, patio room and a big yard. 3 bedrooms include 2 full size beds and one twin bed. 2 full bathrooms - 1 with a tub/shower and the other with a shower. Several outdoor seating areas weather permitting. If you're lucky you'll catch a glimpse of the local wildlife emerging from the adjacent wooded area. 10 minutes from Marshall, downtown, 2 major hospitals or the mall.

A great couples retreat with 2+miles of hiking trails and a vast space for outdoor activities and wildlife viewing. The beds are comfortable and the heat and air conditioning are great. We are nestled on over 100 acres of land and are 1000 feet from the nearest highway.
